Turns out Dee Dee lost the tooth while dancing to bed and lift and replacing the top to her ceramic tooth casket.
But, as I told her, the Tooth Fairy was going to take it anyway, and since the Tooth Fairy's magic, she'll find it wherever Dee Dee dropped it. And sure enough, she did. I checked this morning, and the Tooth Fairy had left 50 cents :-)

ReplyDeleteI already have a reply worked up.... "Oh my, the Tooth Fairy must have dropped it on the way out, with all the kids she sees, that must happen sometimes. How about we put it back under your pillow tonight and see if we can get another 50c ?"
