The Facebook raspberry.

It's been interesting to watch how acquaintances respond to those who respond to them. I'm not sure I fully understand, but it often seems to follow this pattern:

1. My friend makes a clever comment.
2. Someone comments

My friend likes

3. Another person comments

My friend likes

4. I comment

My friend is silent

5. Another person comments

My friend likes

6. Another person comments

My friend likes.

Etc.

One or two isn't a trend, but repeated silence is a message.
