Electoral Turnings[1]
csc: I don't feel right voting for Romney or Obama.
csc: But I don't feel especially good about Ron Paul, either. I mean, if there were a charismatic Ron Paul running against the real Ron Paul, I'd vote for the charismatic one.
csc: Me too, but there isn't. So aren't we throwing away a vote?
csc: What's that mean?
csc: Umm, it means your vote could help the guy you really don't like instead of the guy you kinda don't like.
csc: ?
csc: You might help the greater of two evils.
csc: .
csc: Let me put it another way: Do you want to cast your vote based on how millions of other people are going to vote (which you don't know) for a candidate you don't like?
csc: Now that you put it that way...
csc: So do what's right.
csc: Which is?
csc: Vote your conscience.
csc: But he has no chance of winning.
csc: There ought to be some kind of "The Price is Right" rule where the candidate that gets closest to the most popular support but doesn't go over gets elected.
csc: And if he goes over?
csc: Disqualified.
csc: Voted off the island.
csc: Chopped.
csc: Goes home with a consolation prize.
csc: "Oh, we're sorry, that's the wrong answer, but you get to keep the votes you won and get a consolation prize. You and your family can now relive the excitement anytime you like with the home edition of The American Elections Game."

Alice Cooper, Elected
The portion with bombs dropping was originally cut because it was considered too provocative. Strange how times change. Then again, a lot of Americans were coming home from Vietnam every day in body bags. But that doesn't happen any more.
Alice still performs, I saw him a couple times; he's a devout Christian and opened a center for troubled kids called "Solid Rock." Good for him. I think we are on the same road, I was just a few years behind him.
