c0 snowy weather as seen through a car windshield.Some Michigan drivers in winter must think the coefficient of friction has been increased just for them. Otherwise, why would they drive above the posted speed limit on ice-covered roads when it's 1°F outside and the salt isn't working?

The same people also must think the laws of light propagation have been suspended, since they don't clear the snow from their windows.

There's nothing more annoying than looking in your rear view mirror on icy roads and seeing someone three feet behind you peering through a porthole in his front windshield created by a defroster that was turned on only 5 minutes ago.
