If you were an alien watching American TV from space and couldn't understand the words but did understand the gestures, one thing you would see consistently at both extremes of political opinion is indignation, ie, “I can’t believe you’re so dumb that you don't agree with me on this.”Just watch. It’s so pervasive we’re inured to it.
How about a communion service? If you were miles above the earth watching communion services at a Catholic church, Lutheran church, Methodist church, and Baptist church, what would stand out?

Aside from a little more glitter over here and a little less over there, you’d likely think they are doing pretty much the same thing.
