Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer vetoes controversial anti-gay bill, SB 1062 >The good news is that intolerance was defeated. Maybe not because an enlightened governor did the right thing, but because enough people knew what the right thing was that those sitting on the fence got off on the right side.
It doesn't always work that way.
But this time it did, and that means 50 years hence we won’t see history books filled with signs from 2014 that say “Straights Only” or “No gays allowed”
I fully support the right to believe homosexuality is a sin. I also fully support the right to believe it’s not.
Or, as I believe, that I’m in no place to judge the happiness two people find together.
