Close-set diagonal lines on a parking lot do not mean "we saved this space for you."

c0 This car is parking in an area marked for no parking.
Clarence parks between the lines; some drivers don't. Clarence is on the left. You can tell by the cool radio antennas on his car.
I’m not sure what people are thinking when they park in areas that are marked for no parking.

That doesn't apply to me?
My car is small?
Nobody will mind?
Nobody will say anything?
I'm leaving early today, it'll only be a while?
What do those lines that are close together mean?
